The Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery supplies petroleum products to the domestic market and selected export destinations in accordance with national and international standards.
Established in 1953, the refinery has evolved into a high-tech industrial complex capable of processing 21 out of 24 grades of Caspian crude oil, transforming them into vital energy products for domestic and international markets.

Following an extensive modernization program completed in 2024, our reach has expanded, allowing us to supply high-quality, environmentally friendly fuels to a more diverse range of markets than ever before.
Domestic Market: Powering Azerbaijan’s Growth
Our primary mission is to ensure the energy security of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We meet the entire domestic demand for petroleum products, providing the essential fuels and raw materials that drive the nation’s economy.

Fueling Transportation: We supply the domestic market with high-octane gasoline (AI-92 and AI-95) and diesel that meet stringent Euro-5 standards, significantly reducing vehicle emissions in our cities

Aviation & Infrastructure: We provide high-grade aviation kerosene (Jet A-1) for Azerbaijan's international airports and produce over 400,000 tons of high-quality bitumen annually to support the country's road and building construction sectors.

Industrial Feedstock: Our refinery serves as the primary supplier of raw materials for Azerikimya PU, enabling the production of essential petrochemicals, ethylene, and propylene.
Euro-5 Diesel & Gasoline
Our recent upgrades allow us to export premium fuels to European and regional markets that demand the highest environmental and quality standards.
