The Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery (often referred to as the Heydar Refinery) is the primary petroleum processing facility in Azerbaijan, operated by the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR)
The Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, located in Baku, stands as the cornerstone of Azerbaijan's energy sector and one of the most significant industrial landmarks in the South Caucasus.
Operating under the umbrella of SOCAR (State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic), we are the sole petroleum refiner in the country, dedicated to transforming Azerbaijan’s rich natural resources into the energy that powers our nation and the world.
What We Do
The refinery processes a diverse range of crude oil grades to produce high-quality petroleum products essential for modern life, including:
- Automotive Fuels: High-octane gasoline and Euro-5 standard diesel.
- Aviation Kerosene: Powering international and domestic flight corridors.
- Industrial Feedstock: Providing essential raw materials for the petrochemical industry.
- Specialty Products: Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), bitumen, and coke.
